So how did this all begin?

I grew up around art with my mum’s hand painted furniture business. I spent much of my time going to craft fairs with Mum and earning pocket money helping her prepare small pieces ready for her to paint or helping my dad in his workshop sanding pieces down and putting them together. 

But really I didn’t start painting myself until much later when the universe played its hand and I found myself a stay at home mum during the first years after my second baby Leo. What started as solely a space for self expression turned into a business. But really, this is so much more than that to me.

After 38 years on this wonderful planet I found my passion.

The process from blank cotton paper to a finished piece is one that I am in awe of and am constantly learning from. I paint what I feel, and it takes time, a glorious amount of reflection and a whole lot of thought.

Sometimes it’s a majestic take on wildlife. Sometimes, it’s a leap into my imagination and a world of adventure that I wish for my children. And sometimes it is a snapshot of the wonder of the world that surrounds us.
